Art Anderson is hiring a Revit Designer to support electrical, civil, structural, mechanical, marine engineering and naval architecture teams in Bremerton, WA. The role involves developing CAD/BIM drawings and models, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring design quality across diverse projects.

The ideal candidate has strong Revit skills, experience with AutoCAD/MEP, and the ability to travel for site visits; US citizenship may be required for access to certain sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 3+ years of 2D/3D design and modeling experience

Responsibilities

• Create/modify CAD models and 2D drawings in Revit, AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, SolidWorks, Civil 3D or MicroStation for electrical systems
• Develop conceptual, detailed, production-ready and as-built drawings
• Create models and drawings of one-line diagrams, panel schedules, systems and electrical plans
• Conduct site visits to collect field data and inspect installations
• Coordinate with electrical contractors and vendors
• Perform model and drawing quality assurance reviews
• Utilize various CAD standards per client/project type
• Create BIM content and renderings using Revit

Art Anderson is hiring an REVIT Designer! Art Anderson is a unique team of engineers and designers who routinely tackle diverse project challenges on land, shore and at sea. We are excited to bring on a talented Revit Designer with to directly support our electrical, civil, structural, mechanical, marine engineering and naval architecture design team.

We are looking for people at all skill levels to use their communication and teamwork skills,andabilityto manage multiple projects simultaneously to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Create andmodifyCAD models and 2D drawings inRevit,AutoCAD,AutoCAD MEP,Solidworks, Civil 3D, orMicroStationfor buildingelectrical systems.
• Develop conceptual, detailed, production-readyand as-built drawings.
• Create models and drawings ofone-line diagrams,panel schedules,systems, andelectrical power, lighting, and low voltage systems plans.
• Conduct sitevisits to collect field data and inspect installations.
• Perform basic system design using National Electrical Code and illumination standards.
• Coordinate with electrical contractors and vendors.
• Perform model and drawing quality assurance reviews.
• Coordinate with engineers and designers on design, model and drawing development.
• Utilize a variety of CAD standards depending on client and project type.
• Perform basic calculations.
• Create and Develop BIM content, using Revit.
• Produce BIM related marketing materials, including renderings and conceptual models.
• Understanding ofRevit MEP modeling, system workflows, and coordination processes.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and its integration with Revit.

The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and skillsets, but a standard salary between $80K – $100K is expected.

Required

• High School Diploma and3+years’ 2D and 3D design and modeling experience usingAutoCAD, AutoCADMEPand Revit.
• Experience developing /modifyingdesign for production drawings to currentindustrypractices isrequired.
• Experience reviewing and applying established specifications and basic engineering and design principles to verify accuracy and completeness of finished drawings with attention to detail and qualityrequired.
• Experience preparing drawings usingvariousstandards andindustrypractices. Knowledge of commercial,municipal,USN,NAVFAC,USCG,andNational CADdrawing standards and templatesis a plus.
• Ability to collaborate and learn new 2D and 3D programs and design standards and apply them directly to current projectsrequired.
• Experience creating Revit families and manipulatingprojectand global parameters.
• Proficiencywith script files andAutoLISPis a plus.
• Proficiencywith Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam.
• This position may require military base access for project sitevisits;therefore,US Citizenship is required.
• Physically able to conductsite visitsandfield investigationsincluding being in confined spaces, climbing ladders, andlifting upto 25 pounds, in both cold and hot environments.
• Familiarity withSKMPowertoolsis a plus.
• Registered Communication Distribution Designer certification is a plus.
• Strong technical skills with Revit software.
