Job summary

You will collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Professional Services, build clear models in Excel, and contribute to month-end close and audit preparation while driving process improvements with automation ideas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 3–5 years of revenue accounting experience, ideally with a technology or software company.
• Working knowledge of ASC 606 and software contracts.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables and modeling.
• Clear written and verbal communication, able to explain conclusions to diverse audiences.
• Experience with Oracle; familiarity with Salesforce, SAP, or Alteryx is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze software contracts to identify key terms and document accounting conclusions under ASC 606.
• Collaborate with Order Management, Sales, Legal, Credit & Collections, and Professional Services to gather details.
• Approve revenue recognition in Salesforce opportunities and ensure alignment with pricing and contract terms.
• Support month-end revenue close, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare revenue audit packages for external auditors during quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
• Partner with the technical support team on automation projects to reduce manual work.
• Maintain internal control documentation and contribute process improvements.
