Job summary

1-800-Flowers.com, Inc. seeks a Senior Financial Analyst - Revenue & Merchandise to partner with the Merchandise Finance team across brands such as Cheryl's Cookies, The Popcorn Factory, and 1-800-Baskets.

You will translate pricing, promotions, and sales strategies into financial plans and forecasts for a fast-paced, seasonal ecommerce environment. The role is hybrid in Burr Ridge, IL (4 days onsite / 1 day remote).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis, or related experience.
• Experience supporting merchandising, revenue management, sales, marketing, or commercial finance functions preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
• Advanced Excel skills with complex formulas and data analysis.
• Experience creating executive-level PowerPoint presentations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with non-financial partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range planning activities for assigned brands.
• Develop and maintain driver-based financial models supporting demand, revenue, AOV, product mix, and margins.
• Partner with merchandising to translate initiatives into financial plans.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reporting and variance analyses against forecast, budget, and prior year.
• Provide insights into sales performance, promotions, pricing, assortment, and margin performance.

Education
