Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company’s Solitude outpost seeks an experienced Revenue Manager to optimize pricing, product mix, and distribution for lift tickets, passes, lodging, and on-mountain offerings. You will partner with resort leadership to align commercial strategies with operational plans and annual targets.

As part of a decentralized, embedded team, you will forecast revenue and manage inventory, driving higher visit growth and revenue per visit across products and services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative/related field.
  • 3–6+ years of experience in revenue management, pricing, or a highly analytical role with direct impact on business performance.
  • Experience using data to inform pricing, product, or commercial decisions and to influence stakeholder decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Own revenue performance across resort services and lodging, including occupancy, ADR, revenue, and revenue per visit.
  • Lead pricing, product, inventory, and distribution strategies for lift tickets, season passes, lodging, rentals, and programs.
  • Run weekly revenue management and performance meetings; drive in-season pricing and inventory decisions.
  • Analyze performance trends and translate insights into actions; identify opportunities to drive incremental revenue.
  • Partner with resort leadership to align revenue strategies with operational plans and annual budgeting.
  • Own forecasting and reporting for lodging and resort services, including occupancy, ADR, and pace metrics.

Among other resources, Alterra has a slate of Employee Resource Groups to support our workforce.**POSITION SUMMARY**The Revenue Manager is a resort-embedded member of Alterra’s centralized Revenue Management Shared Services team, responsible for driving revenue performance through pricing, product, and distribution strategy across lift tickets, season passes, lodging, ski & ride school and rentals. The primary focus is to grow skier visits, optimize visit mix across paid ticket and passholder segments, and increase revenue per visit through higher ancillary penetration. This role is accountable for delivering measurable revenue outcomes for the resort.Reporting to the Regional Director of Commercial Excellence, this role serves as the Revenue Management lead for resort services and a trusted partner to resort leadership. As an embedded member of the local team, the Revenue Manager works closely with Resort Presidents, Marketing, FP&A, and operational leaders to align pricing, product strategy, demand generation, and financial planning. They translate data and insights into clear, actionable strategies that drive results and ensure alignment across the resort.
