Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to perform reporting and analysis of the revenue cycle, assist with system issues, audits and inquiries related to accounts receivable. You will coordinate with leadership, physicians and executives to improve documentation, coding accuracy and compliance.

The role includes maintaining CDM integrity, supporting quality audits, and partnering with Compliance, Budget Office, Patient Accounts and Health Information Services to drive revenue

Qualifications

• Minimum High School/GED
• 1–3 years in hospital or physician revenue cycle, billing, coding
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business or Healthcare
• 1 year in Project Management
• 1 year in a Epic-billing environment

Responsibilities

• Responsible for financial, statistical and operational projects; present detailed analysis of A/R performance and related outcomes/trends.
• Assist with maintaining the integrity of the CDM and the software program.
• Monitor and audit Revenue Cycle issues and provide guidance across departments.
• Develop and maintain a Quality Audit program for RI liaison and charge review.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Budget Office, Patient Accounts and other Revenue/Finance teams.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare or related field
