Job summary

Winona Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to support multiple areas of the revenue cycle, providing financial and trend analysis while covering roles such as Registration, Scheduling, Pre-Services, Insurance Verification, Billing and Collections, and Payment Posting. The position emphasizes teamwork and accuracy in a busy healthcare setting.

The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to analyze data, and the capacity to develop professional relationships with patients

Qualifications

• 5 years revenue cycle experience or post high school degree in accounting, healthcare administration, or business-related field
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; ability to analyze data and multitask
• Ability to develop and maintain professional, service-oriented relationships with patients, physicians, co-workers, and supervisors

Responsibilities

• Support registration/scheduling, pre-services, insurance verification, billing and collections, payment posting, and charge capture as needed
• Perform financial and trend analyses; monitor payments; collect data to support process improvements
• Assist with denials review and resolution and other revenue cycle duties as assigned
