One Community Health in Hood River, OR is hiring a Revenue Cycle Analyst to strengthen financial health and operational performance. You will analyze revenue cycle data, monitor KPIs, and develop meaningful reports for decision-making across patient revenue, billing, denials, and reimbursements.

This hybrid-remote role requires onsite presence at least two days per week at a clinic or administrative location, with training periods needing additional onsite attendance.

The Revenue Cycle Analyst supports the financial health and operational performance of One Community Health (OCH) by analyzing revenue cycle data, monitoring key performance indicators, identifying reimbursement and billing trends, and developing accurate and meaningful reporting to support revenue cycle decision‑making.

Reporting to the Director of Revenue Cycle and working closely with the Senior Financial Analyst, this position provides analytical support across the revenue cycle, including patient revenue, payer mix, reimbursement, accounts receivable, denials, payment trends, revenue leakage, and billing performance. The Revenue Cycle Analyst assists in following patient accounts through the billing and reimbursement process and supports the effective utilization of EPIC practice management, billing, and reporting tools.

This analyst position is designed to build expertise in healthcare revenue cycle analytics within a multi‑site Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) operating in Oregon and Washington. The position collaborates with Revenue Cycle, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Data/IT, clinical teams, and external payers to transform revenue cycle data into actionable information and identify opportunities to improve collections, reimbursement, workflow efficiency, and overall revenue cycle performance. This is a hybrid‑remote position based at the Hood River, Oregon clinic. The employee is required to work onsite at an OCH clinic or administrative location a minimum of two days per week. An initial training period may require additional onsite attendance for a period determined by the Director of Revenue Cycle.

Minimum Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, medical billing, reimbursement, patient financial services, healthcare finance, data analysis, or a related area.
• Demonstrated experience using Excel to organize, analyze, and report data.
• Associate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Insurance Billing, Data Analytics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle concepts, including billing, claims, accounts receivable, denials, payment posting, collections, and reimbursement.
• General understanding of healthcare payers, including Medicaid, Medicare, commercial insurance, and patient responsibility.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify trends, variances, and inconsistencies in data.
• Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and translate findings into clear and meaningful information.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, filtering, sorting, and data analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn and effectively utilize EPIC, financial systems, business intelligence tools, and other healthcare reporting applications.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and competing deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings to both financial and non‑financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Revenue Cycle, Finance, Accounting, Operations, IT/Data, clinical departments, and external payers.
• Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision while recognizing when issues should be escalated.
• Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Ability and willingness to work in a dynamic and changing community healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Understanding of FQHC or community health center revenue cycle operations.
• Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement.
• Experience with Business Objects, Microsoft PowerBI or similar business intelligence/reporting tools.
• Experience developing dashboards or KPI reports.
• Knowledge of payer contracts and reimbursement methodologies.
• Familiarity with HRSA requirements and FQHC reimbursement structures.
• Experience working with financial or clinical data sets.
• Experience working within an FQHC, Community Health Center (CHC), Rural Health Center, or similar healthcare environment.
• Experience with EPIC EMR/Resolute or another advanced healthcare billing system.
• Experience analyzing claims, denials, accounts receivable, payer reimbursement, or other revenue cycle data.

Compensation

• Salaried/Exempt: $60,000-$65,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
• Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
