Job summary

Alliance Resource Group is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager in Vernon, CA. This hybrid role requires overseeing revenue accounting across channels, ensuring ASC606 compliance and driving close processes with strong controls.

The candidate will manage AR reconciliation, dispute chargebacks, and collaborate with Wholesale, Operations, and Distribution to ensure billing accuracy and collections. A CPA and NetSuite experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Hands-on ASC606 experience and expertise in receivables and reconciliations.
• ERP systems experience, NetSuite is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee revenue accounting across channels with ASC606 compliance.
• Improve revenue close processes, reconciliations and controls.
• Reconcile accounts receivable and investigate outstanding balances.
• Review chargebacks and coordinate with business teams to resolve deductions.

• Review deferred revenue calculations and maintain supporting schedules.
• Prepare and review journal entries and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Lead the Revenue Accounting team's daily and month-end activities.
• Support audits and financial analyses with organized documentation.

Revenue Accounting Manager Location: Vernon, CA | Hybrid, three days onsite per week Compensation: $120,000–$140,000 base + 10% bonus eligibility

What you’ll do

• Oversee revenue accounting across multiple channels, ensuring appropriate recognition under ASC606.
• Improve revenue close processes, reconciliations and supporting controls.
• Reconcile accounts receivable and investigate outstanding balances.
• Review and dispute chargebacks and partner with business teams to resolve deductions.
• Coordinate with Wholesale, Operations and Distribution on invoicing, billing accuracy and collections.
• Review deferred revenue calculations and maintain complete supporting schedules.
• Prepare and review journal entries and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Lead the Revenue Accounting team’s daily and month‑end activities.
• Support audits and financial analyses with organized transaction‑level documentation.

What we’re looking for

• At least five years of accounting experience within retail, e‑commerce or consumer products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with ASC606, receivables, chargebacks, deferred revenue and reconciliations.
• Ability to analyze large transaction volumes and explain findings clearly.
• Experience leading people or coordinating team execution.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Large ERP experience required; NetSuite is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and strong cross‑functional communication skills.
• Experience improving systems, supporting public‑company reporting or participating in an ERP implementation would be valuable.
