Job summary

Chimes International, Ltd. in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage government contracts invoicing and related financial processes. You will prepare invoices, update financial records, and ensure submissions to WAWF, GSA, and IPP are timely and accurate.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 5 years of accounting experience, with preference for government contracting knowledge. Onsite schedule; comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Five years of accounting experience, government contracting preferred.
• Experience with accounting software, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and A/R modules.
• Experience with WAWF, GSA, and IPP a plus.
• Must be bondable and have a suitable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual invoices for government contracts.
• Update all financial spreadsheets and schedules with current invoice information.
• Post and submit invoices to government websites (WAWF, GSA, IPP) within deadlines.
• Calculate, remit, and reconcile monthly fees to Source America.
• Serve as liaison for government clients on billing issues and collectability.
• Reconcile General Ledger accounts monthly/quarterly.
• Process monthly accruals and journal entries for revenue/cost items.
• Assist with audits and budgets; provide revenue/cost analysis.
