Responsibilities:
  1. Support Senior Living Community business office managers in accounts receivable functions.
  2. Prepare financial statements using GAAP, analyze financial data, and perform Medicaid revenue calculations.
  3. Respond to accounts receivable inquiries from owners, lenders, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
  4. Monitor private pay and financial assistance program balances.
  5. Collaborate with the Community Team for accurate financial reporting and resolve discrepancies.
  6. Train staff on financial processes and standards.
  7. Reconcile accounts receivable, review aging reports, and manage deposits and allowances.
  8. Update accounting software with resident move-in/out information.
  9. Generate and distribute resident statements timely.
  10. Improve the accounts receivable process for efficiency and accuracy.
  11. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, policies, GAAP, and organizational standards.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
  2. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  3. Experience with Yardi software preferred.
  4. Valid driver’s license for occasional travel.
