Job summary

HNTB is seeking engineering interns to assist assigned department(s) with basic engineering tasks, research, development and design support, and preparation of drawings. This position is for current/former HNTB Interns only.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an accredited post-secondary engineering program, with foundational math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, who can follow directions and organize information for drawings and documents.

Qualifications

• Understanding of engineering concepts at a basic level.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to take direction from peers and supervisors.
• Understanding of introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures.
• Ability to perform basic engineering calculations.
• Ability to organize information for drawings or documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assist Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assist Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
