Job summary

Frost Bank in San Antonio seeks a Retirement Services Business Development Officer to grow new retirement-related business. You’ll meet with prospects, discuss Frost services, and gather information while building relationships with integrity and excellence.

You’ll drive outreach, document calls, maintain mailing lists, participate in community activities, and help shape advertising and referral programs while aligning with Frost’s values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, or related discipline; or, 5+ years related experience.
• FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses, or the ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization skills and time management ability.
• 3+ years investment related sales experience and client interaction experience
• Master's Degree in Business, Economics, or related discipline

Responsibilities

• Initiates contacts for developing and booking new business and works internal referrals to the appropriate Wealth Advisors group.
• Makes and documents outside calls on prospects, customers, and referral sources.
• Meets with prospects to discuss Frost services and advantages of proper planning and obtains necessary information.
• Maintains a continuing relationship with existing customers and referral sources within the community to develop goodwill and develop additional business.
• Ensures that mailing lists are maintained and participates in the development of advertising strategies of services.
• Reports on all calls/sales made.
• Participates in community activities and local business activities to enhance the image of the bank.
• Monitors and maintains the appropriate referral reward program in designated areas of business development efforts.
• Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
