Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a People & Culture Specialist, Retirement to administer and maintain the Firm’s qualified retirement plans, including the 401(k), Puerto Rico 401(k), and Employee Stock Bonus Plan programs. You will support employee inquiries, reconcile contributions, and collaborate with payroll, recordkeepers, actuaries, and other teams.

The role requires three or more years of retirement plan administration experience, knowledge of IRS/ERISA laws, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to comprehend complex legal documents and filings.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the day-to-day administration of the Firm’s qualified retirement plan programs, including 401(k), Puerto Rico 401(k), and Employee Stock Bonus Plan activities.
• Reconciles employer and employee contributions, loan activity, and related payroll/vend or data with plan recordkeepers.
• Supports annual compliance activities, including retirement plan audits, Form 5500, nondiscrimination testing, and plan disclosures.
