ERISA Services is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Specialist to join our retirement plan team. If you excel at turning complex rules into clear, compliant results, this is the place for you.

You will review valuations, testing, and calculations, provide guidance on ERISA matters, and serve as a technical resource for Plan Administrators and colleagues. The role rewards accuracy, problem-solving, and collaborative learning across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in retirement plan industry with compliance review and plan administration.
  • Deep ERISA and DOL requirements knowledge.
  • Ability to research complex technical questions independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Experience with plan documents and amendments.

Responsibilities

  • Review valuations, administration projects, compliance testing and calculations.
  • Research and guide on ERISA and retirement plan compliance.
  • Answer technical questions submitted to Quality Assurance.
  • Support plan documents, amendments, takeover, start-up documents, restatements.
  • Provide technical guidance and training with Plan Administrators and others.
  • Interpret regulatory changes and implement related procedures.
  • Promote consistency, accuracy, and quality in retirement plan administration.

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned retirement plan professional who enjoys digging into the details, solving complex compliance questions, and sharing their knowledge with others.

In this role, you will work closely with our Plan Administrators and other team members to review retirement plan administration, valuations, testing, calculations, and special projects for accuracy and compliance. You will also serve as a trusted technical resource, providing research, guidance, and support on retirement plan and compliance matters.

What You’ll Do
  • Review valuations, administration projects, compliance testing, and calculations for accuracy and compliance.
  • Research and provide guidance on ERISA and retirement plan compliance matters.
  • Respond to technical questions submitted to the Quality Assurance team.
  • Provide support related to plan documents, including amendments, takeover and start-up documents, and restatement projects.
  • Partner with Plan Administrators, Relationship Managers, New Business, and Management to provide technical guidance and training.
  • Assist with interpreting regulatory and legislative changes and implementing related procedures.
  • Help promote consistency, accuracy, and quality throughout our retirement plan administration processes.
What We’re Looking For
  • 8+ years of retirement plan industry experience, including significant experience with compliance review, A–Z plan administration, and/or plan design.
  • Working knowledge of 401(k), 403(b), 457, Cash Balance, Profit Sharing, and Money Purchase Plans.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERISA and related Department of Labor requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to independently research complex technical questions while knowing when collaboration or additional guidance is appropriate.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and regulatory deadlines.
  • Strong team orientation with a willingness to share knowledge and support others.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Commitment to ERISA Services’ Core Values.
Experience That Would Be A Plus
  • Experience using Pension Pro or another retirement industry CRM system.
  • Experience with FT William software, including Form 5500, plan documents, and compliance modules.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
