Job summary

Corebridge Financial is seeking a Retirement Plan Consultant to provide objective guidance to plan sponsors and employees. The role includes delivering presentations, participating in benefit fairs, and supporting education campaigns to boost participation and deferral rates.

Travel may be required for new enrollments based on territory. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred), Series 7/66 and state licenses, CFP/ChFC desirable, and strong presentation

  • Excellent presentation skills.

About the Role

The Retirement Plan Consultant provides objective guidance that aligns with the needs of plan sponsors and employees eligible for the applicable retirement savings plan. The position involves delivering presentations, participating in benefit fairs and orientations, and supporting education campaigns to increase participation and deferral rates. Travel may be required for new plan enrollments depending on the territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group presentations, in person or via video technology, to improve awareness of plan features and grow plan assets.
  • Present enrollment meetings, age‑based financial education meetings, and sophisticated financial literacy meetings as requested by the plan sponsor or according to the communication and education plan.
  • Actively participate in benefit fairs and new employee orientations.
  • Participate in the annual plan review and financial education planning process.
  • Assist the Relationship Manager and/or District Vice President with targeted education campaigns to increase participation and deferral rates.
  • Meet with participants and eligible employees to educate them regarding plan participation.
  • Travel to territories for new plan enrollments, as required.
Key Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Series 7 and Series 66 preferred; appropriate state insurance licenses required.
  • CFP, ChFC or similar designations desirable.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English skills a plus.
