Job summary

The Partners Group in Portland, OR (with hybrid remote options) is seeking an Account Manager for retirement plan services. You will partner with Retirement Consultants, manage day-to-day client relationships, and support plan administration and education initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in retirement plans, Series 65, and strong communication skills. Salary range $70,000–$85,000 DOE with a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in retirement plans, pension services, or related retirement industry role.
• Series 65 license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to communicate retirement plan concepts to participants, sponsors, or other stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of retirement plans and investment concepts.
• Proven ability to build client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidence presenting to groups.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned retirement plan clients and ensure service commitments are met.
• Partner with Retirement Consultants to support plan administration, client meetings, and strategic service initiatives.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and client deliverables related to plan performance, demographics, and employee education.
• Coordinate client and vendor communications, schedule meetings, and follow through on requests and action items.
• Conduct employee education sessions and participant meetings focused on enrollment, investments, and retirement savings goals.
• Monitor retirement plan compliance requirements and help clients navigate regulatory and administrative considerations.
