Job summary

ValuTeachers Inc. helps educators and public service professionals strengthen their financial futures and retire with financial dignity.

The Retirement Education Specialist will build relationships in the Guilford County education community to promote retirement education, explain qualified plans, and assist educators and administrators in planning for long-term income. Position is a full-time, 1099 independent contractor role, with life insurance licensing required and a compensation potential

Qualifications

• Experience or strong connections in the public education system.
• Ability to explain retirement plans to educators and administrators.
• Comfort with a 1099 independent contractor arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Promote retirement education to educators within Guilford County.
• Explain and compare 403(b)/457/IRA options and related products.
• Provide ongoing support to educators for retirement planning.
