Retirement Benefits Consultant or Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Provides complex analytical support within the benefits area, including cost modeling, trend analysis, benefits utilization, and disability programs.
• Analyzes and presents complex census data to support vendor negotiations.
• Conducts audits and reconciliations of benefit programs, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Develops and designs benefits communications such as SPDs, employee and vendor communications, and open enrollment materials.
• Conducts surveys and evaluates benefit trends to support the total compensation program.
• May present recommendations to senior team members.
• Engages vendors to resolve complex benefits issues and communicates findings.
• Documents process improvements for future plan enhancements.
• Reviews and analyzes plan documents for renewals, negotiations, or updates.
• Audits plan operations for compliance.
• Conducts new hire benefits orientation programs.
• Provides counsel to managers and employees on benefit issues.
• Evaluates vendor responses to RFPs for value and compliance.
• Coaches and mentors less senior Benefits Analysts.

Qualifications

• Experience and connections in benefits administration.
• Proficiency with MS Suite, SAP, People Central (SuccessFactors); experience with Fidelity is a plus.
