Job summary

Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA seeks a Retina Surgeon to join our Ophthalmology faculty. The position offers the chance to practice in a well-established ophthalmic program and participate in resident education.

The ideal candidate is board certified/board eligible in ophthalmology with a Retina fellowship, and must obtain PA licensure and federal/state narcotics certificates. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or foreign equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited training program is required.
• BC/BE in ophthalmology with Retina fellowship is required.
• Ability to obtain a Pennsylvania medical license is required.
• Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates.

Responsibilities

• Teach and participate in resident and medical student education.
• Collaborate with clinicians across ophthalmology and other departments.
• Engage in innovative educational approaches and clinical research.
• Provide high-quality retina surgical care to patients in a leading academic center.
