Job summary

American Academy of Ophthalmology in Central Florida seeks a fellowship-trained retina specialist proficient in medical and surgical retina to join our high-volume practice. You will diagnose and treat AMD, diabetic retinopathy, and other retinal diseases, and perform injections, laser, vitrectomy, and scleral buckling.

Board-eligible or board-certified ophthalmologist, licensed or licensure-eligible in Florida, and a team player dedicated to compassionate care are desired.

Qualifications

• Fellowship-trained retina specialist with medical and surgical retina expertise.
• Board eligibility or certification in ophthalmology.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat AMD, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, uveitis.
• Perform intravitreal injections, laser procedures, vitrectomy, and scleral buckling.
• Collaborate with referring doctors and staff to maintain high clinical standards.
