Retina Group of New York seeks a fellowship-trained retina specialist to join our established, physician-owned practice, serving Long Island since 1986. This opportunity combines a rewarding clinical career, partnership potential, and a predictable schedule in a practice known for excellence in retinal care developing the office of the future featuring ZyDoc and AI technology.

Position highlights

• Full-time schedule: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Medical retina or combined medical and surgical retina; surgery optional

• Work alongside highly awarded vitreoretinal specialist James M. Maisel, MD, FAAO, in a dedicated retina practice managing macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular disease, and other vitreoretinal conditions. Our offices offer Heidelberg retinal imaging, electrophysiology, intravitreal treatments, and laser capabilities with outstanding staff. The office is the site for developing the future of medicine with AI and ZyDoc technologies.

We seek a physician who values clinical excellence, thoughtful patient relationships, and collaboration with referring physicians. Experienced specialists and graduating fellows are welcome.

Qualifications: Board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology, fellowship-trained in retina, and eligible for New York State medical licensure.

Compensation: Annual base salary of $400,000, plus productivity incentives and partnership potential. Compensation will reflect experience, qualifications, and clinical responsibilities.
