Job summary

Lush Retail is seeking a regional retail leader to empower store managers, support store operations, and drive growth across North America. This role focuses on coaching teams, recruiting and developing managers, and ensuring excellent customer experiences in a dynamic beauty network.

The position requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a willingness to travel within the US Central region and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing a Lush shop and driving sales.
• 1+ years experience supporting remote locations and developing teams.
• Ability to mentor, manage performance, and navigate employee relations.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and adaptable to other systems.
• Must be located in the US Central Region near multiple Lush store locations.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within the US Central region.
• Ability to travel internationally as needed to Canada and the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Empower Store Managers

• Inspire entrepreneurial thinking and autonomy in decision-making.
• Provide guidance and hold managers accountable for business results and contributions.

Support Store Operations

• Visit shops to connect with teams, identify opportunities, and coach them to success to drive sales and create incredible customer experiences.
• Identify growth opportunities, challenge the status quo, and implement innovative solutions.
• Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and training of managers, setting them up for success.

Develop Talent

• Provide coaching, feedback, and support for managers, MITs, TSMs, and Interns.
• Lead engaging training sessions that empower teams to succeed, both in-person and virtually, on various retail topics.
• Foster a culture of growth, where everyone feels supported in their development.

Ensure Compliance and Ethics

• Maintain safe retail environments and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Promote Lush ethics, values, and initiatives, including sustainability and Lush Giving.

Strategic Collaboration

• Participate in meetings across North America and globally.
• Represent retail managers in discussions with other support teams and work closely with other teams to ensure the best support for our stores and events.

Community Engagement

• Help Store Managers build strong connections within their communities, welcoming new customers and expanding Lush's reach.
• Encourage creativity, fun, and positivity within our stores.
• Be day makers and create magic and fun experiences for both employees and customers.

Expectations

• 2+ years of experience managing a Lush shop, driving sales, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• 1+ years of experience supporting remote locations and developing teams.
• A passion for helping others grow, with a proven ability to mentor and support talent, manage performance, and navigate employee relations.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and adaptable to other systems.
• Must be located in the US Central Region near multiple Lush store locations.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within the US Central region
• Ability to travel internationally as needed to Canada and the UK.

Preferred

• 1+ years of multi-unit experience.
• Degree or coursework in business, commerce, or communication.
• Experience in the cosmetics and beauty industry.
• Cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB training.
• Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages.
