Job summary

Le Pain Quotidien Encino, CA is seeking part‑time team members to deliver warm hospitality from greet to checkout. You will provide friendly service, handle drinks and pastry prep, and assist guests in a fast‑paced dining room and retail counter.

The role offers tips where eligible, a supportive team, cross‑training opportunities, and a schedule flexible enough for students or part‑time workers. Prior restaurant experience or Toast familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, especially Toast, a plus.
• Flexibility in schedule highly preferred but not required.
• Ability to be cross‑trained in all areas of the dining room and retail space.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit.
• Anticipate guest needs and note preferences.
• Prepare drinks for retail and dining room, including batches for the retail counter.
• Properly bag, box, and arrange to‑go food and pastry.
• Perform sales transactions and maintain pastry displays.
