Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Raleigh’s HomeGoods store is hiring a retail associate. This position starts at USD 14.50–15.00 per hour, offering hands-on training, growth opportunities, and a supportive team in a Fortune 100 off-price retailer.

You will create positive customer experiences, assist with merchandise flow, backroom organization, and training of associates while upholding safety and store standards. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and a strong team mindset are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Maintains all organizational, cleanliness and recovery standards for the backroom area
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
