IKEA is seeking a Permanent, full-time, hourly associate in East Palo Alto, CA to implement and innovate store layouts that best present the product range. You will keep the shopping environment organized and visually appealing for customers, create engaging displays, and drive effective merchandising strategies.

The role requires at least two years in retail visual merchandising, proficiency with Adobe and CAD tools, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Two years of retail visual merchandising or similar experience.
• Proficient in Adobe, AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup or similar software.
• Associate's degree preferred.

What you'll be doing day to day

• Implements and innovates upon store layout plan in order to best present the product range.


• Maintains an organized and visually appealing environment for our customers.


• Creates and maintains visual displays.


• Devises, implements and executes effective merchandising strategies.


• Utilizes space planning tools to ensure simplicity, cost-effectiveness and efficiency in store design.

JOB TYPE: Permanent, Full-time, Hourly Associate
HOURS: From 34-40 hours per week (HL3) // Benefits Eligible
SHIFTS: Fully open work schedule availability including evenings and weekends required; Work schedules are published one month in advance.

The hourly pay range for this role is $24.72/hr - $33.19/hr.
