Job summary

Best-One Tire & Service in Monroe, IN is seeking a reliable Tire Technician who takes pride in quality service and puts customers first. If you’re safety-minded, hardworking, and motivated to learn, we want to talk with you.

You’ll mount and dismount tires, inspect tread and valve health, check air pressure, rotate tires, perform brake inspections, reset TPMS, and complete work orders. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and accurate documentation as part of a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• 18 years of age.
• Ability to consistently follow store policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and complete instructions.
• Position requires continuous standing, bending, lifting and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.
• Team-Player: Works well as a member of a group.
• Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.

Responsibilities

• Understand and show empathy towards customer’s tire issues.
• Mount/dismount, install new or used tires.
• Inspect and assess tire tread levels, wear patterns, valve quality and overall health of the tire.
• Check air pressure, repair punctures and replace faulty valves.
• Complete tire rotations; reset TPMS when needed.
• Complete brake inspections.
• Complete work orders and related paperwork.
• Load/unload and store equipment as needed.
• Maintain, set up tire racks, organize, and clean shop and equipment.
• Assist customers and other co-workers as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
