Clean Harbors in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Class A Driver (Retail Technician) to perform environmental services, including collection and disposal of damaged or recalled products, recycling of light bulbs and engine fluids, and on-site cleanup.

The role requires attending a 5-day Safety Kleen Academy in Elgin, IL as part of onboarding; travel and lodging are provided, with per diem; training is paid at normal rate. Attendance is mandatory.

Job description

Clean Harbors in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Class A Driver (Retail Technician) to provide comprehensive environmental services including collection and disposal of damaged, discarded, or recalled products; recycling of light bulbs, oil, oil filters, engine fluids and other materials; and on-site cleanup activities. This position requires attendance at a 5-day, in-person Safety Kleen Academy in Elgin, IL (1st week at local branch and 2nd week at academy) as part of your onboarding and training. Attendance is mandatory. Safety Kleen provides airfare, hotel accommodations, transportation to/from the Academy, breakfast and lunch, and a $38 nightly per diem. Academy training is paid at your normal rate. Candidates must be able to travel and attend the full 5-day Academy to be eligible for this position.
