Job summary

Goodwill North Central Texas is seeking a Retail Team Member Sales for full-time at Store #57 in Mansfield, TX. The role requires handling POS, providing excellent customer service, restocking merchandise, and maintaining store appearance. Work hours are 40 hours per week, with days varying and two days off.

Compensation is $14.82 per hour. Experience in customer service is preferred; basic math, reading/writing, and ability to operate POS and pricing systems are expected.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of experience interacting with the public or team is required.
• One year of customer service experience dealing with the public is preferred.
• Must be proficient in basic math, able to read and write; operate computerized equipment (POS, credit card terminal, pricing system).
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Manage POS (Point-of-Sale) system, credit card terminal, and cash accurately; and answer telephones.
• Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers and assisting on the sales floor.
• Assist with maintenance and restocking of merchandise and keep the sales floor clean.
• Open availability: store operates 7 days a week, 8 AM–7 PM.

Job Title: Retail Team Member Sales - FT

Locations: Store #57 --- 989 Walnut Creek Drive Suite 151, Mansfield, Texas

Salary: $14.82 per hour

Work Hours:FT (40 Hrs. per Week) Days and hours vary; 2 Days Off per Week

General Job Duties:

• Manage POS (Point-of-Sale) system, credit card terminal, and cash accurately; and answer telephones.
• Provide excellent customer service (friendly, courteous, attentive), greeting customers within seconds of arrival; assist customers on sales floor to select and locate merchandise.
• Assist with maintenance of hangers, and sizing of textiles on sales floor; return empty racks and carts to production area; and restock depleted merchandise.
• Responsible for the overall appearance of the sales floor; performs all necessary cleaning functions in all areas of the store.
• Other duties as requested.
• Open availability of schedule preferred (Store open 7 days a week, 8 AM through 7 PM).

Skills/Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public or team is required.
• One year of customer service experience dealing with the public is preferred.
• Must be proficient in basic math, able to read and write; operate computerized equipment (POS, credit card draft terminal, pricing system); meet quotas; make pricing decisions based on quality of product.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.

Physical Requirements:

• Physical stamina needed to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
• Walking, standing for prolonged periods of time, stooping, reaching (6 ft. with use of ladder, if needed); and pulling, pushing, lifting 50 pounds, heavier lifting may be required with assistance; sufficiently mobile to work in any area of the facility.
