Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to help customers and fellow team members while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. You will handle cash, merchandise, and store tasks, with shifts that may include evenings and weekends.

Experience levels vary; a high school diploma is preferred but not required, and strong communication and problem-solving skills are valued. The role emphasizes safety and customer service in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail or farming knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver legendary customer service via GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, Add value, Appreciate the customer.
• Operate cash register and computer following procedures.
• Merchandise recovery and plan-o-grams; assemble merchandise.
• Perform janitorial duties and process price changes/markdowns.
• Operate forklift and cardboard baler (where age allows).
• Assist customers with loading purchases; ensure a safe, positive shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety policies and complete required documentation.
