Job summary

Family Farm and Home in Brunswick, Ohio seeks a Team Member dedicated to helping customers, stocking products, operating the POS, and keeping the store clean and organized to support daily operations.

You must be flexible for weekends and evenings, able to stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs, contributing to a welcoming shopping experience and safe, well merchandised aisles.

Qualifications

• Team Member responsibilities include assisting customers, stocking, operating the POS, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Promote Family Farm and Home mission statement and family values.
• Executes daily operational goals and priorities assigned by store management.
• Utilizes Farm Hand to receive communication and tasks from corporate office and store management.
• Greets customers as they enter/exit the store. Interacts with store customers in a pleasant and positive manner.
• Solicits customers to sign up for Family Farm and Home Programs (Loyalty, Extended Warranties, Add-on Initiative, Financing, Item of the Month).
• Answers phone calls in a professional manner. Assist customers in store and online; process special orders.
• Utilize POS to checkout customers and follow cash handling procedures.
• Utilizes On the Go to complete POG’s and Mass layouts per store layout.
• Utilizes Harvester to complete online customer orders.
• Assists in setting promotional signage, price changes, and in-store signage as directed.
• Assists in freight, recovery and out of stock processes.
• Responsible for passing scores on corporate store audits and inspections.
• Maintain awareness of in-store safety issues and shoplifting; communic ates issues to management.
• Upholds and supports all Loss Prevention measures.
• Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack safely (18+).
• Assists in building/assembling store displays, products, and fixtures.
• Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, receiving area, cash office, and restrooms.
• Upholds merchandising, store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist in Daily Operational standards checklist.
• Contributes to a positive working environment for all team members.
• All other duties as assigned by store management or company officials.
