Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a store role in Toledo-Rossford, OH. You will help customers shop, provide fast checkout, and assist with store operations and merchandise duties to keep the store well-stocked and inviting.

Responsibilities include engaging customers, enrolling them in the Rewards program, processing transactions, and supporting online orders and in-store pickups while maintaining a safe, friendly shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.
• Able to lift heavy boxes and reach high shelves.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program enrollments and Private Label Credit Cards.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs).
• Maintain store recovery and in-stock conditions; process returns/go backs.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
