Job summary

Maverik is hiring a Retail Team Member to join our on-site team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will deliver the GET experience, greet customers, engage with guests, and thank them as you help with food preparation and display maintenance.

This role offers full and part-time opportunities, with cross-training between Food Service and Front-of-Store, and a strong focus on growth and teamwork within Maverik’s dynamic store network.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced store environment.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Food Handler Permit may be required by store/jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer experiences using Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) approach.
• Seamlessly transition between roles—engaging customers, stocking, and maintaining food displays.
• Prepare Maverik’s recipes and keep displays clean and inviting for customers.
• Adapt quickly to changing situations and provide outstanding service in busy periods.

Retail Team Member

Starting pay: $15.16 - $17.16/hr. with both career and growth opportunities!

Shift: Full and Part-time opportunities available. This position will be cross-trained between Food Service and Front-of-Store.

Physical Requirements:

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
