Job summary

KARM Stores in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Retail Team Lead to manage daily store operations, lead cash handling, refunds, and POS transactions while ensuring accuracy and security. You will train staff, supervise stocking, and organize scheduling and coaching documentation.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in retail management.
• Ability to lead and train staff in stocking shelves and customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to handle cash, payments, refunds, and POS operations accurately.
• Experience with financial reporting and basic banking deposits.
• Strong organizational skills for scheduling and coaching documentation.
• Ability to communicate with leadership and align with company mission and core values.

Responsibilities

• Lead and equip team in the retail operations of the store, including the handling of cash and credit card payments, refunds, and all functions of the POS system in order to ensure the accuracy and security of all transactions.
• Lead and train store staff in stocking store shelves and clothing racks, in order to provide customers with maximum shopping opportunities.
• Responsible for the training of new employees in order to ensure the employees have all essential training needed to be successful in their position.
• Complete, with accuracy, all financial reporting and bank deposits, to ensure truthful reporting and recording of daily sales and donations.
• Complete with accuracy and a high level of organization all administrative needs of the store including schedules, coaching documentation, performance logs and any other necessary documentation that is needed for the operation of the department.
• Communicate regularly with the Director of Operations to ensure all store issues, praises, employee relations, etc. are addressed.
