Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposits.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks according to store procedures.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock and rotate merchandise, build displays, and restock as needed.
• Operate cash register and scanner; collect payment and give change.
• Greet customers and assist with locating merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; manage plan-o-grams when required.
• Open/close store under direction of Area Manager.
• Assist in refunds/overrides and bank deposits in manager's absence.
