Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a Retail Support Merchandiser in Clinton, AR to partner with store teams and lead hands-on merchandising projects for leading brands. This independent contractor role offers flexible hours, competitive pay ($14–$15/hour), and project-based assignments across multiple stores.

Ideal candidates are self-starters who thrive in fast-paced environments, excel at relationship-building, and can maintain brand standards and compelling in-store presentations while reporting

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and move throughout retail environments.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 lbs; ability to lift 50 lbs; heavy items up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Comfortable working in cold environments (refrigerated/freezer sections) for limited periods.
• Smartphones required for reporting: iOS 11+ or Android 2020+ devices.

Responsibilities

• Stock, replenish, and merchandise products to maintain brand standards and in-store presentation.
• Execute merchandising projects, displays, resets, and promotional initiatives with precision.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store management and associates.
• Ensure planogram compliance and maintain product placement standards.
• Complete store visit reports with photos and detailed feedback using mobile tools.
• Effectively communicate opportunities, challenges, and project updates.
• Manage schedules and assigned store visits to ensure deliverables on time.
• Maintain a high level of quality, professionalism, and accountability across assignments.
• Support large-scale merchandising and retail execution initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Frequent lifting/carrying up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to lift objects and products up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to move merchandise, fixtures, and displays as required.
• Comfortable working in a variety of retail store environments.
• Must be willing and able to work in cold environmental conditions (i.e., refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores) for limited periods of time.
• Smartphones are required for reporting:
• IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer
• Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest
