Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a Retail Support Merchandiser to provide ongoing store support and lead project-based merchandising initiatives. This independent contractor role focuses on stocking, displays, and ensuring brand standards across assigned stores.

You will build relationships with store teams, execute planograms, and report back with clear feedback and photos using mobile tools. Flexible hours and fast-paced environments are a hallmark of the position.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and move throughout the retail environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Smartphones are required for reporting (iOS/Android).
• Planogram experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock, replenish, and merchandise products to maintain brand standards and in-store presentation.
• Execute merchandising projects, displays, resets, and promotional initiatives with precision.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store management and associates.
• Ensure planogram compliance and maintain product placement standards.
• Complete store visit reports with photos and detailed feedback using mobile reporting tools.
• Communicate opportunities, challenges, and project updates.
• Manage schedules and assigned store visits to ensure deliverables are on time.
• Maintain high quality, professionalism, and accountability across all assignments.
• Support large-scale merchandising and retail execution initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to move merchandise, fixtures, and displays as required.
• Comfortable working in a variety of retail store environments.
• Must be willing and able to work in cold environmental conditions (i.e., refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores) for limited periods of time.
• Smartphones are required for reporting:
• IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer
• Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest
