Job summary

Bath & Body Works is seeking a Supervisor to partner with the Store Manager to develop outstanding associates and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will lead the front-line store leadership team, drive growth, and act as a brand ambassador.

The role emphasizes coaching, setting daily goals, and delivering results through selling excellence and strong product knowledge. It requires flexibility to work peak times and a commitment to the brand values.

Qualifications

• Experience driving sales, customer experience and operations in a fast paced retail setting.
• Experience supervising in a retail environment preferred.
• Customer-first selling culture and strong communication skills.
• Ability to coach associates in the moment and provide feedback.
• Willingness to work peak days and varied shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Summary:

As a Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work in partnership with the Store Manager to develop outstanding associates, deliver exceptional and consistent customer experiences, and positively impact growth across Bath & Body Works. Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.

• Responsible for leadership tasks as delegated by the Store Manager including acting as Manager on Duty, when scheduled, to address customer experience, vendor relationship, or maintenance issues.

• Partner with the members of the Sales Leadership Team to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.

• Perform opening and closing routines including execution of bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and interpret/disseminate company directives.

• Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.

• Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.

• Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through demonstrating and modeling selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and elevated product knowledge.

• Create genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations.

• Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and the customer experience.

• Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates.

• All store positions require constant physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting.

• Associates are expected to climb ladders, lift, reach, bend, and kneel to obtain products for customers and to maintain the visual appearance of the store.

• Associates should be able to lift 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds.

• Consistently provide the most safe, clean, and engaging experience by adhering to all safety standards and expectations.

• Maintain our values, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.

• Prior experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a retail setting.

• Thrives in a customer-first based retail environment.

• Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.

• Effective communication skills, being open to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly.

• Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates.

• Ability to de‑escalate store and customer situations effectively.

• Must be available to work peak days and times, including varied shifts of evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education:

• High school diploma, GED certificate, or Relevant Work Experience.
