Retail Supervisor - Inventory
Part‑time position at WIS International located in Fargo, ND. The role focuses on coaching and training inventory associates to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Coach and train Inventory Associates – accuracy is critical.
- Follow a clear, consistent workflow and serve as the primary point of contact for event‑related concerns.
- Lead and engage the team to maximize productivity, foster engagement, and support directives from the Area or District Manager.
- Uphold and promote WIS core values: Service, Pride, Integrity, Results, Innovation, and Teamwork in a positive, safe, and inclusive environment.
- Act as backup to the Area Manager at inventory events.
- Lead on‑site inventories in conjunction with the Area Manager, using WIS standardized processes.
- Assist with planning and execution of district travel and equipment logistics.
- Ensure Inventory Associates understand event procedures and receive guidance on each event.
- Demonstrate safe behaviors at all times and ensure the safety of all associates at an event.
- Act as an expert on WIS core values, safety protocols, and policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum age 18.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience as an Inventory Associate or similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong time‑management skills.
- Effective customer service and conflict resolution skills focused on providing solutions.
- Ability to work flexibleted schedules, including varying hours for district and customer commitments.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, remain active during shifts; lift and carry up to 25 lbs.; perform repetitive motions with both hands and wrists.
- Comfortable learning handheld scanners or count tools.
- Strong focus and attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance and commitment to consistency.
- Positive, team‑oriented attitude.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Willingness to submit to a pre‑employment investigative consumer report and drug screen if required.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, or meeting WIS fleet driver requirements may be required.
- Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered under LA County FCO and the California Fair Chance Act.

Salary
Starting at $21.75 – $23.75 per hour.
