Bachman's Apple Valley store is seeking a Supervisor in Training for a full-time role. You'll work alongside an experienced leadership team to learn store operations, merchandising, inventory management, product ordering, team leadership, and administrative responsibilities.

This hands-on position focuses on developing leadership, providing excellent customer service, mentoring staff, and ensuring a clean, safe, and well-stocked store.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail supervisory or management.
• Experience with garden center products is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing store operations and supervise retail operations as assigned.
• Train and model exceptional customer service.
• Merchandising, ordering, stocking, displaying, and inventory control of product.
• Provide daily supervision and foster a teamwork environment to meet customer expectations.

You'll work alongside an experienced leadership team to learn all aspects of store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, product ordering, team leadership, and administrative responsibilities. Job Duties:

• Assist in managing within assigned store operations, and directly supervise the retail operations as assigned by the Assistant Store Manager.
• Train and model exceptional customer service.
• Merchandising, ordering, stocking, displaying, inventory control of product.
• Learn how to provide daily supervision and work directly through a participative management style by encouraging a teamwork environment that meets customer expectations.
• Help perform required administrative functions on a timely basis: schedules, reviews, and timecards
• Manage product quality and stock levels.
• Provide feedback to support departments.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout the store.
• Assist in managingthe entire stores operation in absence of Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail supervisory or management capacity
• Previous knowledge or work-related experience in garden center products such as plants or landscape materials is required
• Good written and verbal communication skills demonstrated.
• Good technical knowledge including POS, Window’s and Excel.
• Demonstrated strength in employee relations, problem solving and customer service.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
• High energy level with the ability to provide strong leadership, train, delegate and motivate staff.

Compensation:

$18.63-20.00/hour
