Job summary

Crossmark Inc. is seeking a Retail Supervisor to oversee merchandising, resets, and remodels across a designated territory in the United States. You will lead a team, ensure client standards are met, and manage projects within budget while traveling locally as needed.

The role emphasizes audits, planogram interpretation, equipment handling, scheduling, and coaching to maintain quality and customer satisfaction. English proficiency is required, with bilinguals a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, manage, train and engage a team that executes projects to client standards.
• Ensure quality execution by conducting in-store audits and assisting with project completion.
• Direct and assist with project work such as reading planograms, unloading trucks, installing fixtures, merchandising aids.
• Plan work techniques, equipment, materials and team schedules prior to projects, and adjust plans as needed.
• Set and manage project expectations with customers and team members; evaluate performance and provide coaching.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and team members.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to use technology and tools.

Overview

The Retail Supervisor is responsible for the management of effective and efficient execution of retail merchandising, reset and remodel projects, and sales activities in a designated territory by ensuring the quality and capacity of CROSSMARK services through training and development of team members, and hands‑on involvement to ensure projects are completed timely and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, manage, train and engage a team that executes projects to the standards expected of clients and customers.
• Ensure quality execution by conducting in‑store audits and assisting with completion of projects to meet client expectations.
• Direct and assist with the project work as needed, which may consist of reading and understanding planograms, unloading trucks, installing fixtures, and operating equipment and merchandising aids.
• Strategically organize and plan the work techniques, equipment and materials, and team members’ schedules prior to commencement of projects, and exercise independent judgment and discretion when modifications to the plan are needed.
• Set, convey and manage project expectations amongst customers and team members, evaluate team member’s performance, and provide counseling, coaching and constructive feedback to ensure quality execution.
• Professional, effective and continual interpersonal, nonverbal, written and oral communication with customers and team members.
• Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of and ability to use technology, and hardware and software tools.

Education And Experience

Supervisory Responsibility

• Directly supervises approximately 10–100 employees

Working Conditions

• Combination of office and field environments
• Extensive local travel, some overnight, may be required

Resets and remodels are physically demanding and may include:

• Removing and relocating products and shelving
• Building and installing fixtures
• Reorganizing products according to planograms
• Replacing shelf tags
• Stocking new products and retrieving additional inventory as needed

Language Skills

• English proficiency required
• Bilingual skills may be required based on business needs
