As we continue to scale our global platform, the Retail Supervisor will play a critical role in driving store and venue sales results and delivering the ultimate fan experience on game day.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Retail Supervisor partners with the store Leadership team to lead the front-line part-time retail team — including Retail Associates and Retail Leads — across daily operations, coaching, and game day execution. This role carries full Manager on Duty responsibilities and operates on a full-time schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and extended hours during events. The Retail Supervisor delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

HOW WILL YOU DRIVE IMPACT

Success is measured by the ability to deliver results through BOLD capabilities and measurable outcomes.

Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams)

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Partner with store Leadership on key business decisions, including revenue targets, per cap, and units per transaction (UPT), providing recommendations grounded in observed operational data.
  • Communicate expectations clearly for assignments and projects to the part-time retail team, ensuring alignment across Retail Associates and Retail Leads.
  • Provide hands‑on training and ongoing assistance to Retail Associates and Retail Leads, building a confident and capable front‑line team.
  • Coach part‑time team members based on observed job performance and operational excellence standards, modeling Fanatics Values in every interaction.

Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)

  • Ensure Retail Associates deliver an exemplary fan experience on every interaction, with particular focus on game day and event environments.
  • Execute consistent daily operations that directly support sales results and a seamless shopping experience for every fan.
  • Perform Manager on Duty responsibilities that maintain store standards and keep the fan experience running smoothly across all venue conditions.
  • Support back‑of‑house operations and stockroom organization to ensure product availability never becomes a barrier to fan satisfaction.

Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit)

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Fanatics and retail operation systems — including POS, OpSuite, My Playbook, Service Now, and OKTA — and identify opportunities to apply these tools more effectively.
  • Anticipate operational challenges before they escalation, acting decisively to resolve problems on the floor, in the back of house, and during high volume game day scenarios.
  • Make data‑informed recommendations to the Leadership team on revenue targets, per cap, and UPT, contributing to continuous store performance improvement.
  • Adapt quickly to changing event conditions, venue environments, and staffing needs, bringing a solutions‑first mindset to every shift.

Ownership & Execution (Determined & Relentless Mindset)

  • Drive sales results through consistent, disciplined execution of daily operational standards across every shift, including nights, weekends, and extended game day hours.
  • Hold the part‑time retail team accountable to operational excellence expectations while maintaining a positive, high‑energy store culture.
  • Model Fanatics Values on the floor, setting the behavioral standard that Retail Associates and Retail Leads are expected to follow.
  • Maintain readiness for variable weather conditions and physical demands inherent to venue‑based retail, ensuring operations continue without disruption regardless of environment.

We are building a future‑ready organization. This role is expected to:

  • Apply AI and technology to improve efficiency, quality, and outcomes
  • Use data and digital tools to inform decisions and enhance performance
  • Demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in adopting new technologies and ways of working
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build partnerships, work effectively across all levels of management, and lead a part‑time team with confidence.
  • Ability to anticipate problems, act decisively under pressure, and maintain operational standards during high volume game day and event scenarios.
  • Fun, outgoing, confident, and professional demeanor with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional fan experiences.
