Job summary

Woodward Tahoe at Boreal Mountain Resort is seeking a Retail Services Supervisor who will lead daily operations, coach a retail team, and ensure exceptional guest service. This is a full-time seasonal role based at the Lake Tahoe area, with responsibilities spanning inventory, product creation, and adherence to SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily Retail Services operations.

• Oversee Guest Service operations and safety training.
• Plan promotions aligned with marketing plan and drive revenue growth.

As a Retail Services Supervisor at Boreal Mountain Resort, you’ll play an important role in leading the Retail Services team and ensuring an exceptional guest experience. You’ll help bring Boreal’s culture of service and mountain recreation to life by ensuring the Retail operation is organized, staffed, and operating efficiently seven days a week. This role is responsible for the daily oversight of Retail Services, including team leadership, staff scheduling, inventory management, product creation, sales, guest service, and operational processes. Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee daily Retail Services operations
• Lead by example with honesty, integrity, and a strong commitment to guest service
• Hire, train, develop, schedule, and oversee Retail Services team members
• Manage retail inventory, including receiving inventory and maintaining an organized stock room
• Follow and/or create company SOPs for retail item creation and operational processes
• Assist with retail orders and oversee timely product creation
• Oversee Guest Service operations for Retail Services
• Develop and implement safety training for the Retail Services Department
• Plan and organize the promotion of products and services in alignment with the annual marketing plan
• Contribute to product strategy through pricing, sales, process improvement, and performance tracking
• Drive revenue growth and service improvements through innovative and analytical approaches
• Assist with guest and market research programs
• Develop and implement visions for long-term revenue growth and service improvements
• Maintain regular communication with HR and Senior Management regarding employee coaching, discipline, performance, planning, and development

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience, preferably within a retail, resort, or action sports environment 1–3 years of supervisory experience
• Experience related to action sports industries
• Strong commitment to team member training, development, and coaching
• Strong understanding of sales, pricing, inventory management, and performance tracking
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
