Job summary

Tailored Brands, Inc. is seeking a Retail Store Tailor—Alterations to join our Men's Wearhouse team in Akron. You will assist customers, mark and press garments, and deliver final products that fit well and look attractive.

You’ll collaborate closely with management and teammates to ensure a positive guest experience. Ideal candidates have formal tailoring training and strong sewing skills, with excellent communication and a team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Formal tailoring training preferred.
• Experience as a tailor for menswear highly preferred.
• Good technical skill with sewing equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer questions and provide input throughout the experience.
• Mark garments for tailoring and press garments.
• Maintain an open dialogue with management and assist team members.
• Help keep the tailor shop clean and organized.
• Ensure customers are properly sized and fitted.
• Offer wardrobe ensemble suggestions.

WHAT IT TAKES
