Men’s Wearhouse is seeking a Retail Store Tailor—Alterations to deliver precise garment alterations and an excellent customer experience. You will assess fit, mark and tailor garments, and work with teammates to ensure high-quality results that meet customers' expectations.

The role emphasizes strong tailoring skills, attention to detail, and the ability to advise customers on wardrobe improvements while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Formal training in tailoring is preferred.
• Experience as a tailor for menswear is highly preferred.
• Good technical sewing skills and knowledge of sewing equipment are required.
• Strong communication skills and a team attitude are essential.
• Proficiency in all basic and advanced alterations of men’s tailored clothing.

Responsibilities

• Provide input and assistance throughout the customer experience to ensure a satisfied guest and a customized final product.
• Ensure proper fit of garments.
• Mark garments for tailoring and press as needed.
• Maintain an open dialogue with management and help other team members.
• Keep the tailor shop clean and organized; assist customers with sizing and wardrobe suggestions.

RETAIL STORE TAILOR-ALTERATIONS

Provide positive input and valuable assistance throughout the entire customer experience to ensure that each guest is satisfied and receives a final product that is customized to look attractive, fit well, and feel just right.

How You’ll Contribute

• Ensure the proper fit of garments

What It Takes

The highly motivated, customer-friendly retail store tailor-alterations we seek should have these qualifications:
