Responsibilities

• Perform standard alterations such as pant hems, waist & seat adjustments, rise & tapering modifications, coat sleeves, side seams, and lower collar adjustments per guidelines.
• Maintain ~60 minutes productive alteration per hour, with breaks and non-tailoring tasks as needed.
• Ensure garments meet quality standards: clean finishes, secure stitching, even seams, remove loose threads; press for a crisp finish.
• Keep workspace clean, organized, and well-maintained; store tools and materials properly.
• Demonstrate proficiency with tailor shop equipment; tag and organize completed work for pickup.
• Assist with inventory by monitoring supplies and requesting replenishment as needed.
• Support front-of-house activities: cleaning, restocking merchandise, assisting customers as directed.
• Participate in customer consultations, offering guidance on alterations and garment fit to deliver an exceptional experience.

Tailor Shop Production & Operations

Perform standard alterations—pant hems, waist & seat adjustments, rise & tapering modifications, coat sleeves, side seams, lower collar adjustments—in alignment with company guidelines.

Maintain an average of 60 minutes of productive alteration work per working hour, allowing for appropriate rest and meal periods and time for non‑tailoring tasks as needed.

Ensure all garments meet high‑quality standards: clean finishes, secure stitching, even seams, and removal of loose threads and pins. Press garments for a clean crisp finish.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace; ensure all tools and materials are properly stored and well‑maintained.

Demonstrate proficiency with all tailor shop equipment. Ensure completed work is accurately tagged, organized, and ready for customer pickup.

Assist with inventory management by monitoring tailoring supplies and requesting replenishment from management as needed.

Support front‑of‑house activities—cleaning, restocking merchandise, assisting customers—as directed.

Participate in customer consultations at management's direction, offering guidance and recommendations on alterations and garment fit. Deliver an exceptional customer experience by listening to customer needs and offering personalized solutions.

• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week when needed, including store operating hours.
