Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 9 months+ experience as a Service Manager in a lower-volume store or 6 months in a mid-volume store.
• Ability to supervise 5 or more staff in the absence of the store manager.

Responsibilities

• Sales Management: implement promotions, drive sales, communicate goals.
• Human Resources: supervise staff, train and develop subordinates, provide direction.
• Customer Service: maintain high service levels, ensure efficient checkout and merchandising recovery.
• Financial: maintain cash control and payroll within policy.
• Loss Prevention: educate staff on shrink prevention and security standards.
• Operations: maintain clean store, assign tasks, ensure smooth operations.
• Supervisory Functions: may supervise 5+ staff, handle customer issues, training, planning and directing work.
