Family Fare is seeking a capable team member to oversee store operations in the absence of management, ensuring efficient, economical running of shifts and adherence to policies.

You will monitor staff, assist customers, manage time clocks, close store when needed, and keep the floor clean and well stocked, while following safety and guest experience guidelines.

This role offers frontline supervision with direct customer service in Battle Creek, MI and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (preferred).
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Suggestive Selling/Knowledge of Products.
• Detail Oriented.

Responsabilités

• Monitor associate’s adherence to company policies.
• Run cashier register and courtesy desk and handle customer concerns efficiently.
• Understand store layout and location of safety and emergency equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and provide feedback to managers.
• In the absence of Store Director or department manager, maintain time clock.
• May close store: lock doors, turn off lights, arm store.
• Know product locations to assist customers.
• Maintain a clean, attractive, well stocked store.
• Follow PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments as needed.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
