Dollar Tree in Saint Charles, MO is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, organize merchandise, and support the Store Manager in training staff.

Responsibilities include ensuring security of assets, processing directives, maintaining displays, and delivering a high-energy, customer-focused environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, etc.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills required.

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers with questions or concerns in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional storefront fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and store policies; supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
