Job summary

Runnings in Lima, OH is hiring a Retail Store Manager to lead our busy store and drive sales while controlling expenses. You will oversee merchandising, inventory, and customer service, and work with buyers to meet product needs and ensure safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of retail or customer service experience, plus 2 years in a leadership role. Bachelor's in Business Administration or related field is preferred, with a proven track record of team leadership.

Responsibilities

Responsible for overall sales and expenses at assigned retail store.
Direct and coordinate the merchandising of products.
Set priorities for distribution of new merchandise throughout the retail store.
Ensure adequate inventory in all areas.
Assist customers with purchases, returns, special orders, complaints etc.
Work closely with Retail Buyer(s) to ensure awareness of product needs and other product information throughout their assigned retail store.
Ensure that safety is practiced when handling merchandise by employees and customers.
Delegate authority to managerial personnel as deemed appropriate.
