Retail Store Manager

$17.00 to $22.40 per hour. In addition to the hourly rate our Managers can earn a lucrative monthly bonus, contributing to a major portion of total yearly income.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Store Manager with at least two years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales a plus). The Manager will be accountable for day‑to‑day operations, promote a positive and productive environment, lead, coach, and develop store employees, recruit and retain talent, maximize financial goals, manage customer relations and satisfaction, and analyze financial statements to ensure goals are met.

The Manager will commit to asset protection through inventory control and policy adherence, and promote the business via marketing tools. Responsibilities include sales of jewelry, electronics, firearms (FFL locations), and general merchandise.

This position offers a competitive wage plus a bonus based on store performance and reports to the district manager.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer‑centric environment, engaging customers and addressing issues.
• Assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and customer loan security.
• Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, presentation, systems, and reporting.
• Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability.
• Ensure operating standards meet FirstCash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development.
• Communicate store mission and profit objectives clearly to employees.
• Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform extended periods of standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Demonstrated supervisory ability.
• Ability to work with firearms and become certified.
• May be asked to assist customers outside the building.
• Minimum age 18.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Flexible to work multiple locations.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Work 45+ hours a week as required; hours not guaranteed.
• Computer literate; able to operate POS and office machines.
• Multi‑task ability in fast‑paced environment.

Commission Plan Information

Store Managers receive commission based on the store’s monthly gross profit. Additional details are provided during the interview.
